Raffetto's Liquor Store

G.B. Raffetto, a pioneering entrepreneur in Santa Barbara, operated one of the city's first general and liquor stores at the corner of Chapala and Anapamu Streets. His store, a cornerstone of the growing community, offered a wide range of goods and spirits, becoming a central hub for residents and travelers alike. Positioned in a prime location, it reflected the entrepreneurial energy driving Santa Barbara's development during its early days.

G.B. Raffetto is the great-great-grandfather of the current owners of the Gandolfo Family Market and Deli. His legacy of serving the community with dedication and vision lives on through his descendants, who continue to uphold the family tradition of providing quality goods and fostering connections within their community. Raffetto's contributions mark a foundational chapter in Santa Barbara's rich commercial history.
